This is a first class opportunity to join one of London’s fastest growing print firms. The successful candidate will take full control of all manufacturing from pre-press to bindery. The ideal candidate will have come up the “shop floor” route rather than office / production, be commercially minded and have a good understanding, or better still, a qualification in lean manufacturing.

This is very much a “hands on role” therefore someone from a 50 staff plus environment will more than likely not be a match.

Responsibilities (from job spec):
  • To effectively manage the performance and conduct of all shop floor employees, meet and improve on production targets.
  • Be able to motivate the team and drive production, quality and output.
  • Challenge poor performance and reduce work in progress and customer rejections and waste.
  • Be able to find ways of improving productivity, quality and efficiencies.
  • Applicants must be from a sheet‑fed litho background.
  • Experience and be used to working in a fast turnaround, fast‑paced environment.
