Are you a site manager or working foreman , from a joinery background, who is open to a new freelance role in Oxford?

We are seeking a hands-on Site Manager / Working Foreman to join a high-spec fit-out project for a luxury jewellers in Oxford. Working alongside the lead site manager, you'll oversee subcontractors and contribute to day-to-day site coordination — with an emphasis on joinery, finishes, and detail quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the lead site manager in daily site operations

*

Supervise trades and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to programme and spec

*

Take an active, hands-on role — particularly in joinery and final finishes

*

Enforce health & safety standards and maintain site compliance documentation

*

Coordinate deliveries, site logistics, and maintain site cleanliness

*

Conduct toolbox talks, site inductions, and complete daily reports

Requirements:

Experience as a Site Manager or Working Foreman on fit-out projects

*

Strong joinery/carpentry background essential

*

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

*

First Aid at Work certification

*

Valid CSCS card

*

Excellent communication and attention to finish quality

Desirable:
