You will design future procurement processes, leverage Workday's capabilities, and streamline operations. The role is full-time for 6 months, based in London with one day per week on-site. Ideal candidates will have proven Workday implementation experience and a strong understanding of procurement processes.

Overview

Workday Procurement - Finance Consultant

We are looking for a Workday Procurement / Financials specialist to support a financial services client on a major transformation programme.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of future procurement processes within Workday.
• Leverage Workday Strategic Sourcing (formerly Scout RFP) to assess business value and define the target operating model (TOM) across Source-to-Settle (S2S) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
• Evaluate opportunities to streamline and embed best practice across both strategic and BAU procurement activities.
• Provide input into design principles, process optimisation, and operational model alignment.
• Advise on Workday Financials procurement capabilities, particularly around catalogues and purchasing. (The client currently operates manual processes due to gaps in prior implementation.)

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Workday Financials and Procurement implementations.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, operating models, and strategic sourcing.
• Ability to assess the value of Workday procurement functionality in a complex financial services environment.
• Experience in designing future-state process models and translating them into Workday configuration/design.
