Overview

Location: Worcestershire. Salary: Up to £13.33 per hour with added mileage allowance. Hours: Full time. Must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle. No sponsorships available.

Role

This role is primarily to provide support to customers. As Care Team Leader you would be expected to assist the Field Care Supervisor with the following:

  • New staff to shadow shifts, delivering a full introduction to care, ensuring staff understand procedures and their role in providing care. Support retention and ensure staff understand how Access works.
  • Reporting any concerns to the office regarding staff or customers.
  • Ensuring medication is correct with customers.
  • Building a proper rapport with staff, customers and office staff; promoting Caremark and building relationships.
  • Cover of the on-call emergency phone.
  • Guiding and mentoring Care and Support Workers, as requested by the Deputy Manager.
  • Introductory visits with new customers.
  • Spot checks, moving and handling and medication checks.
  • Collecting information and documentation from a customer’s home as requested by the managers.
  • Providing care and support to our customers.

Training will be provided, and it is expected that the Care Team Leader would have experience delivering care. There are opportunities to progress within Caremark Worcester and Malvern Hills.
