Wonderful Family Seeking Nanny / Housekeeper. Ripon North Yorkshire

A wonderful family based just outside Ripon, Yorkshire are seeking to find their Perfect Nanny/ Housekeeper to become a part of the family and to stay with them on a long-term basis. The family have two children aged 4 and 2 and are expecting their third child in the next few weeks. Both parents work full time and are looking for someone with initiative to help with the children, do school runs 3/4 days a week, and plan fun activities for the children. The family also need someone who can help with the day-to-day running of the house, including ironing, general cleaning, changing beds, etc. The family are looking for someone to become an integral part of the family. The family are ideally looking for someone to work 30 hours but there is flexibility for the right candidate. Flexibility is key and you have the opportunity to make this role your own. There is lots of variety with this position. The ideal candidate would have a love for children, developing and nurturing good manners whilst engaging in fun activities, be reliable and trustworthy. The family enjoy country life, picnics, playing sports, country sports and music, so a love of outdoors life would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Support with the children (ages 4 and 2) and assist with children’s activities, routines, and development.
• Assist with school runs 3/4 days per week.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate, fun activities.
• General household duties including ironing, cleaning, changing beds, and related errands.
• Support with daily household management to help keep the home running smoothly.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum experience: 3 years
• Enhanced DBS (with update service) and Paediatric First Aid (12-hour certificate)
• NVQ Level 3 in Childhood Studies preferred
• Full driving licence; driving required; an car can be provided for duties
• Pets in the home: chickens and tortoises
