Job description
Position Summary

This role is offered on a part‑time basis of 15 hours per week only, encouraging candidates interested in part‑time work to apply. Salary will be on a pro‑rata basis.

You will have an interesting case load of continence and obstetric patients and your comprehensive job plan will include classes. We offer excellent support, supervision and training opportunities. We have developed close links with other members of the MDT and staff involved in the exciting perinatal project improving health care for all women postnatally.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the provision and evaluation of the Women’s Health and Continence Physiotherapy Service provided to outpatients at the Great Western Hospital.
  • Conduct advanced assessment of patients within the specialty who may have highly complex and/or chronic presentations to determine clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment.
  • Promote Women’s Health physiotherapy and provide specialist advice and teaching within GWH and the South West region.
  • Collaborate closely with MDT members and participate in the perinatal project improving health care for women postnatally.

This part‑time position will support women’s health initiatives across the hospital and community settings. You will work within the Great Western Hospital environment and have opportunities for professional support, supervision and training.
