Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
RAFAKidz Nursery, Wittering, Peterborough PE8 6DW
£12.73 per hour 38 hours per week
Just like our children, we are growing! RAFAKidz started out as one of the chosen providers of nursery services to the RAF community. We are excited to announce that we recently opened a brand-new setting to provide high quality affordable childcare at RAF Wittering. The nursey opened in April and we are looking for an additional Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join us.
RAFAKidz Wittering is a welcoming 99-place setting for children from 3 months to 5 years. We create a safe, stimulating and happy learning environment, conveniently located just off the A1. Open five days a week from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, we offer peace of mind for parents seeking quality care. Our dedicated staff lead a variety of exciting adult-led activities while also promoting child-initiated play. We make sure to keep parents updated on their child’s progress through our wonderful app, and provide healthy, nutritious meals each day to support their well-being and development. We also operate a wraparound school care club and holiday club for primary school aged children.
As a qualified practitioner, you will be fully involved in planning fun, educational and stimulating activities within the scope of EYFS learning outcomes, along with maintaining accurate records that fulfil Ofsted requirements. You will have key worker responsibilities for a group of children and work closely with the nursery management team and SEND Lead to identify and support children with special educational needs and disabilities. The needs of military families are unique and if you feel like you could make a difference to military families, we would love to hear from you.
