A leading renewable energy company is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician at Corriemoillie Wind Farm in Scotland. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, specifically in wind turbines. Reward

£36,500 - £62,000 p.a according to experience (We have a graded reward package to suit new entrants to the renewables industry through to the most experienced Wind Turbine Technicians).

Working hours

New Technician (37hrs) to Service Technician Level 3 (40hrs).

What you\'ll do:
  • Be a Multi-Skilled Authorised Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules working on one or more Wind Turbine Variants.
  • Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules.
  • Undertake Major Component (Gearbox, Generator, Transformer etc) Replacements.
  • Complex fault finding and repair on Electrical, Hydraulic and Converter Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine.
  • Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards and take pride of the assets that you maintain.
  • Complete internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills.
  • Typically work in a two-person working party within a supportive team environment.

Who are you?
  • Similar experience, preferably having worked as a Wind Turbine Technician.
  • Physically fit, safety-focused, and love hands-on work.
  • Capable of working at height (within and outside the turbine) and in exposed and remote locations.
  • Enthusiastic about green energy.
What skills do you need?

You\'ll be a skilled engineer with great Electrical and/or Mechanical maintenance experience. Preferably having worked on Wind Turbines previously. We can train you to multi-skill.

Location: Corriemoillie Wind Farm (Garve), Scotland, IV23 2PQ

For this role, you will generally be located within 1 hour drive.
