Overview

Location: Weymouth
Salary: £11.70 - £17.00
Hours: Daytime, Weekend and Evening

Our Care Assistants have the chance to make a real difference to people’s lives, both at home and supporting them in the community. This is a role that varies from day-to-day to helping the more vulnerable in our society, offering a sense of satisfaction that is difficult to match. Caremark Weymouth have a recently awarded the “Best In Midlands” award at the National awards. The award-winning team will be happy to take enquiries and new care workers will be inducted and trained with in-house training.

Working for Caremark Weymouth you would be responsible for meeting the support requirements of our customers, in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence. You would be expected to travel to the customer’s home and assist them with daily tasks as agreed between the customer and Caremark. The type of support would be similar to what would be provided by a member of the person’s family, including help with bathing and dressing or domestic tasks.

Your Role

The type of support you provide is no different to what would reasonably be given by a member of the person’s family, including domestic support or personal care.

You as a person

Caremark Care Workers are responsible for meeting the support requirements of our customers, in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence. You will travel to the customers own home and assist them with daily tasks as set out in their Care Plan.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
  • Driving licence with use of personal vehicle required.
  • Not currently giving sponsorship.
