Dorset Healthcare University Foundation Trust has an opportunity for the right candidates to join our CAMHS Gateway team. The role is specific and involves offering Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural interventions for Children and Young People.
You will have the necessary knowledge, attitude and capabilities to operate effectively in an inclusive, value‑driven service with an aptitude for working with young people and families and a passion for the key principles and values of CYP IAPT. In return you will receive supervision and an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge and be involved in wider CAMHS local Transformation plans.
We currently have two full‑time vacancies in CAMHS Gateway. Work will be a mix of online and face‑to‑face delivery. Full‑time or part‑time hours would be considered.
This position is a unique opportunity to be part of a developing service with high expectations for improving the outcomes for children and families in Dorset. CAMHS Gateway is a new Assessment and Brief Intervention Service operating across Dorset, primarily focusing on high‑quality clinical assessment of young people and families, and delivering brief, needs‑led, evidence‑based clinical interventions.
Your Band 5 Wellbeing Practitioners receive line management, caseload management, and clinical skills supervision as part of their role, deliver groups, work with families, and we are always developing new ideas to engage with as many young people as we can.
