A university support organization is recruiting a Welfare Advisor to provide guidance on various academic and welfare issues for students. This role involves delivering one-to-one support and advocating for students while ensuring they thrive in the university environment. Welfare Advisor – Bucks Students’ Union is recruiting. Location: Primarily based at the High Wycombe Campus. Salary: Grade E: £29,588 – £33,002 per annum. Job Type: Full time, Permanent – based on a 37-hour working week, Monday to Thursday, 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4.30pm, with the flexibility to occasionally work outside the core hours. Closing date for applications: Sunday 8 February 2026 at midnight. Interview date: Thursday 19 February 2026. Start date: as soon as possible.

You’ll be working with our diverse membership, offering one-to-one advice, providing tailored support, and advocating for students when needed.
From supporting financial hardship applications and budgeting advice to providing information on academic processes and university regulations, your work will make a real difference to students.
