A leading resource management consultancy in the UK is seeking a Welder Fitter to maintain and repair mechanical machinery. Welder Fitter Advanced Resource Managers•Woolwich, London, UK

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair mechanical machinery.
  • Keep workshop, yard, and engineering areas safe and clean.
  • Ensure workshop equipment is operational and report defects.
  • Respond to site defects, coordinating with Operations and Engineering teams.
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Engineering teams with tasks.
  • Supervise contractors and ensure works comply with RAMS.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Level 3 Welding qualification or higher.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery.
  • Understanding of engineering operations, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
  • Effective communication, flexible, and proactive.
  • Time-served apprenticeship in marine, mechanical, fitter, or welding industries.
