You will weld mild and structural steel, operate fabrication machinery, and maintain safety standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be capable of reading engineering drawings. Competitive hourly rates with potential for permanent placement available.

Job description

WELDER URGENTLY REQUIRED

Location: Bridlington

Hours: Monday Friday 730am to 430pm plus overtime on days and weekends

Pay: GBP15.00 per hour Up to 40 Hours

GBP22.50 per hour After 40 Hours / Saturdays

GBP30.00 per hour Sundays

The WELDER s role:

• Proficient in welding mild steel and structural steel products
• The WELDER will be experienced in operating fabrication machinery
• Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
• Working under strict Health and Safety guidelines
• Welding various Mild steel and structural steel construction products including Modular steel framing
• Complete some administrative paperwork
• General housekeeping and cleaning duties

Qualifications/Experience

• Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance
• Minimum 2 years of welding and fabrication experience as a WELDER
• Excellent communications skills as will be dealing with senior members of the business and external clients
• Physically fit as may need to perform some heavy lifting duties
• Competent in reading complex engineering drawings
• Confident in operating power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely.
• Ideally coded to ISO 9606
• Ideally Modular welding/ fabrication experience
