Astute's Nuclear Team is partnering with an established business who have a keen eye for detail to recruit a Welder for their main hub which is based in Oxfordshire.

The strategically important Welder role comes with competitive salary, based off of a Welding Test as well as an uplift for the working pattern, up to 14%.

Responsibilities and duties of the Welder role

Reporting to the Line Manager you will :

  • Measure and prepare aluminium and steel for welds and fabrications
  • Perform high quality MIG and TIG welds
  • Maintain the workshop to standards
  • Maintain a Health and Safety within the workshop, and encourage others to do the same
Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following :

  • Proven welding ability
  • Experience with Steel and Aluminium materials
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
