About the Role

Reporting into the Operations Manager, the successful Weighbridge Administrator will be working as part of the site production team and be responsible for ensuring daily tasks are completed including operating the weighbridge, taking orders, organising transport and coordinating with site management to ensure orders are met.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you as the successful Weighbridge Administrator will be carrying out the following duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive)

  • Ensuring the day to day operations run safely, effectively and efficiently
  • Making sure jobs are added correctly to the weighbridge system, materials are entered correctly as per customer requests, are supplied correctly and within the required specification
  • Ensuring an efficient operation of the weighbridge and clear direction to lorries as they arrive and leave the site
  • Undertaking site housekeeping and basic maintenance tasks to ensure a pleasant and safe working environment
  • Working on the safe operation of mobile and fixed plant as trained, authorised and instructed
  • Assisting in the achievement of daily production and sales targets as instructed; including the completion of associated records
  • Undertaking manual labour including digging, lifting and carrying
