Responsibilities
  • Support elderly service users who have a range of physical and mental illnesses/disabilities, working alongside established teams to provide excellent care.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, moving/handling and supporting nutritional and hygiene needs.
  • Be proactive in caring for people with dementia and be aware of their needs.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Safeguarding training within 1 year
  • Infection Control training within 1 year
  • Moving and Handling training within 1 year
  • DBS check for adults dated within the last 12 months, preferably on the update service
  • Minimum of 3 months experience in a Health and Social Care environment

Note: QS Care can provide training opportunities for candidates with expired training. They can arrange a DBS application on behalf of the candidate where the last check was done over 1 year ago and is not on the update service.

Shift information
  • Role for ongoing hours
  • Working on Saturdays or Sundays with typical hours being:
    • 07:00 to 14:15
    • 14:00 to 22:00
    • 22:00 to 07:00
Compensation

£12.75 per hour (Days)

£13.25 per hour (Nights)
