Overview

Perfect position for a Care Assistant looking for some additional hours on weekday mornings.

We are seeking experienced Care Assistants to assist in the care and support of the elderly in a day care centre and assist the established team of Carers. You will be attending to their activities of daily living and will be dealing with clients with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Attend to client’s daily Hygiene and Nutritional needs
  • Housekeeping duties
  • Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly
  • Complying with health and safety
  • Completion of paperwork when required

Requirements
  • You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
  • Have a checkable work history
  • Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
  • Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.

This is an ongoing opportunity.

You will be required to work between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00, usually working 5 to 6 hours a day, Monday to Fridays.

The rate of pay for this position will be £12.21 an hour, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
