Overview

Care Assistants required for Nottingham based care home, specialising in care of residents with dementia and other age-related illnesses. This role is all about helping residents to live happy, enriched lives, providing a friendly face and aiding them in their day-to-day routines. As you get to know the residents you support, you will be able to recognize and help them achieve their personal goals.   • Assist with domestic tasks as needed, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare condition update reports when required.
Qualifications
  • You must have proven experience within a similar care environment.
  • Have a checkable work history.
  • Have up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up-to-date certificates, online training is available with an added fee.
  • Have an in-date enhanced DBS check. If your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one for you.
Additional Information
  • We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants.
  • This is an ongoing opportunity and rewarding role.
  • Your typical hours will start at 14:00 and finish at 22:00, Monday to Friday.
  • You would be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
