Would you like to work in a high performing team where your role involves combining strategy, change implementation and technical skills?

We are looking for an exceptional Principal Consultant to join our IT Sourcing & Corporate Services capability. You will be instrumental in supporting the continued growth of our Wealth and Asset Management business, delivering high-impact consulting projects and shaping the future of our practice. You will work closely with clients across the WAM sector to understand their needs and challenges, develop innovative strategies and implement solutions that drive real business value. You’ll work across a variety of transformation-focused engagements from taking new products and propositions to market, optimising operating models and technology platforms, and leveraging data to create impactful solutions.

Reports to : Head of Wealth and Asset Management

You will have opportunity to :
  • Lead and deliver large-scale (IT) transformation programmes within the Wealth and Asset Management sector.
  • Collaborate with a high-performing team to create and implement innovative solutions.
  • Develop new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of our WAM practice.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives and provide expert advice.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously develop your own expertise.

Hybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. However the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site.

Qualifications
  • Strong management consulting background
  • Extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge in Wealth and / or Asset Management
  • Broad knowledge of the Wealth and Asset Management third‑party and technology services marketplace and experience across the outsourcing lifecycle, including business cases and cost models (strategy delivery, transition, service optimisation and remediation)
  • Expertise in technology delivery disciplines (e.g. IT strategy, IT service management, agile delivery, IT project management)
  • Ability to lead definition of business and IT services requirements and SLAs
  • Proven track record of delivering transformation in areas such as new products and propositions, operating models, sourcing platforms, data modernisation and post‑merger integration
  • Strong analytic and problem‑solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
