The Role

You will be a Senior Manager within our Tech Transformation Practice (aligned to WAM Consulting) helping grow our business and ensure our teams deliver high quality advice to clients. You should expect to be involved in a wide range of challenging client engagements across the WAM value chain for clients across the ecosystem. As a Senior Manager you will lead on key client work items such as leading programmes or being responsible for building KPMG IP.

You will also lead and manage more junior members of the KPMG team as part of project delivery and serve as a role model to support their development. You may also support Directors and Partners with business development activities including proposition development, proposals, RFP responses and pipeline management. In addition, you will help develop the client proposition for technology and contribute to the wider development of the practice, including nurturing junior talent and contributing to a positive culture.

Responsibilities
  • Management and delivery of challenging, complex client engagements to ensure quality and value; understanding client challenges and regulatory environment.
  • Advising on governance, delivery frameworks and operating models.
  • Helping clients optimise cyber security controls and risk management.
  • Coaching and developing team members, managing performance and development.
  • Upholding KPMG's values by acting with integrity.
  • Building and managing multiple client relationships.
  • Project management of engagements including scoping, budgeting, risk management, and production/review of deliverables.
  • Fee generation through business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Contributing to practice management, knowledge sharing, training, proposition development, and knowledge management.
The Person
  • Professional experience in Wealth and Asset management consulting.
  • Experience delivering large multi-disciplinary technology-enabled programmes within the WAM sector with platforms such as State Street Alpha, Charles River, BlackRock Aladdin, eFront, ALTO, Finbourne, FNZ, SEI, or Avaloq.
  • Good understanding of the WAM value chain and traditional asset classes from a fund manager, fund administrator, or consultancy perspective.
  • Understanding of operational and technological challenges in WAM businesses.
  • Ability to lead large-scale technology transformation programmes.
  • Proven project management expertise with delivery on time and within scope and quality.
  • Knowledge of information security and IT methodologies, principles, technologies, and techniques.
  • Strong client relationship skills at senior levels and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Analytical mindset to identify core issues and propose solutions; ability to lead high-intensity work and inspire others.
  • WAM technology sector interest and desire to continuously develop knowledge and skills.
  • Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive working environment.
  • Experience in Business Architecture, vendor selections, or implementations.

Additional Information

The role can be based in London and may require travel domestically and internationally. Willingness to travel frequently and be away from home for set periods is expected.
