A leading finance company is seeking a Wealth Accountant to join its UK-based finance team. Morningstar's Finance team is responsible for accounting, financial planning and analysis of the company's financial results, ensuring adherence to local statutory requirements, and compliance with relevant regulatory bodies (FCA, etc.). The team works closely with our business groups to provide them with timely and insightful information for informed business decisions.
Morningstar is looking for a Wealth Accountant - EMEA West (UK, Jersey, Middle East, and South Africa) to join our UK-based finance team. This is a role within the Wealth pillar, combining both regulatory support and controllership activities. Reporting to the Wealth Controller - EMEA West, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting regulatory reporting requirements while also contributing to core controllership functions including month-end close, financial analysis, and business partnering.
This role is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise across both regulatory reporting and controllership functions while working closely with experienced finance professionals. The position is based in our London office with a 4 day in office hybrid working arrangement.
