Job Description

Our client is a well-established water treatment company that are currently seeking the services of a competent and hard-working Water Treatment Service Chemist based in and around the Surrey area to join their team. The successful candidate will be under-taking service chemist duties on large industrial water treatment contracts and will have extensive hands on experience working within the water treatment sector including carrying out the technical analysis of cooling towers, steam boilers and closed system water. Applications will be considered from Redhill, Brighton, Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience of working in a service chemist role, under-taking the analysis of system boilers, closed systems and cooling tower water.
  • Will ideally hold a chemistry degree.
  • Hands on experience delivering water hygiene duties in accordance with ACOP L8.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office package.
Role
  • Chemical Analysis on Cooling towers, Steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
  • Maintenance of Domestic and Industrial water systems.
  • Routine monitoring tasks at various properties as per client requirements.
  • Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
  • Updating of Site Log Books.
  • Managing the company’s new and existing accounts, whilst generating new leads.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with new and existing clients.
