Job Description

Our client a well-established name within the water treatment industry are currently looking to recruit an experienced, competent Water Treatment Service Chemist to join their busy team based in and around the Coventry area. The ideal candidate will come from a strong water treatment background with experience undertaking analysis on cooling towers, steam boilers and hot and cold systems. Applications from Solihull, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Redditch and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience working in this or similar role.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.

Duties within the role

• Chemical Analysis on cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
• Maintenance of domestic and industrial water systems.
• Routine monitoring tasks at various properties as per client requirements.
• Dosing of systems, closed system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.
• Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
• Flushing of calorifiers.
• Updating of site log books.
• Maintain a professional relationship with new and existing clients.
• Complete and submit all relevant documentation.
