Here is an opportunity to join a national and growing water treatment / legionella company, who are well known in the industry for providing professional and high calibre works to blue‑chip contracts. The company are recruiting for a commercial driven and switched‑on Water Treatment Accounts/Sales Manager based in or around the Glasgow area. The right candidate will have a proven track record of managing and growing industrial water treatment. A strong knowledge of steam boilers, cooling towers, and closed systems is necessary for this role. Applications from Edinburgh, Falkirk, East Kilbride, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Ideally will be educated to degree level.
  • Will come from a strong chemical, sales, commercial and accounts background.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
  • Hold a strong knowledge of steam boiler, closed systems, and cooling tower accounts.
  • Experience in business development/account management.
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Competent in using Microsoft office package.
Key Responsibilities
  • Selling the company’s water treatment/water hygiene services.
  • Managing new and existing accounts.
  • Resourcing new business leads and opportunities.
  • Preparation of new quotes and tenders.
  • Attending meetings when required.
  • Management of cooling tower, steam boiler, hot and cold water systems, etc.
  • Build and maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
  • Achieve and maintain targets.
  • The successful applicant will be a confident, professional individual with the ability to carry out the work effectively.
