Job Title: Water Treatment Sales / Account Manager
Location: Aberdeen, Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £35k – £55k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Sales / Account Manager through to Lead Water Treatment Sales / Account Manager

Profile: We are currently working closely with a well respected Industrial Water Treatment Company, who have a strong presence across the UK working on industrial, heavy industry and food/ beverage sites. They are now seeking to employ a commercially focused and technical Water Treatment Sales / Account Manager to cover contracts across the East Coast of Scotland. Candidates will be responsible for managing a portfolio of steam boiler, closed system and cooling tower accounts; attending regular client meeting to provide updates and discuss opportunities to improve treatment programmes. The successful candidate must come from a strong sales background and be able to hit sales targets through identifying new business leads as well as successfully upselling the companies services.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience within an Account Management role; overseeing a portfolio of cooling tower / closed system and steam boiler accounts.
  • Will hold a science related degree or WMSoc in Steam Boiler & Cooling Tower chemistry.
  • Proven track record of hitting / exceeding sales targets through new and existing leads.
  • Will have excellent working knowledge of Water Treatment systems, and relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Client focused – with experience working in a consultancy setting and providing clients technical advice.
The Role
  • Managing a range of steam boiler/ cooling tower/ closed system accounts for Industrial, heavy industry and food/ beverage clients.
  • Sourcing of new business and identifying commercial opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Upselling of the company’s services including cross-selling chemicals and clean water equipment.
  • Hitting / Exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, attending sites when needed.
  • Providing support to staff and ensure targets are being met and maintained.
