Job Title: Water Treatment Plumber
Location: Motherwell, Central Scotland
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £39k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a well‑known Legionella / Water Hygiene outfit who has recently secured new client contracts in the Central Belt of Scotland. They are seeking a Water Treatment Plumber to cover a mix of commercial, local authority and public sector sites, completing a wide variety of remedial and plumbing duties. Locations of work includes: Motherwell, Stonehouse, Carluke, Shotts, Airdrie, Blantyre, East Kilbride, Lanark, Whitburn, Bathgate, Falkirk, Cumbernauld, Lenzie, Stirling, Clydebank, Renfrew, Paisley, Glasgow, Cambusland, Barrhead, Johnstone, Kilmarnock, Beith, Dumbarton, Irvine, Ardossan, West Kilbride, Greenock.

Experience / Qualifications

• Will have experience working as a Legionella Remedial Engineer within a Legionella / Water Hygiene company
• Good knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Qualified with the NVQ Plumbing Level 1 / 2 / 3 as a minimum
• It would be beneficial to hold the G3 Vented & Unvented ticket, but this is not essential
• Can work both individually and within teams
• Good written and IT skills
• Hardworking attitude

The Role

• Undertaking both PPM and reactive remedial duties
• TMV servicing, replacements and installations
• CWST replacements, refurbishments and installations
• Pipework replacements, installations and chlorinations
• Deadleg removals
• Valve and system component replacements
• Flushing of little used outlets
• Working to agreed deadlines
• Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
• Keeping an accurate log of works undertaken
