Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Carry out a wide range of plumbing works.
  • Monitor air and water systems for compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Cleaning and chlorination of water systems and cooling towers.
  • Temperature monitoring and routine sampling of water systems.
  • Ensure work compliance with health & safety procedures.
  • Install and maintain dosing systems.
  • Provide service reports.
  • Liaise regularly with clients/customers.

Job Overview

Our client is a leading name in the water treatment/hygiene industry and, due to the recent acquisition of several new contracts, they now urgently require an experienced Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber to work on a variety of contracts in and around the Southend on Sea area. Applications from Basildon, Rayleigh, Rochford, Wickford and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Must hold City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in plumbing.
  • Have experience in this role within the water treatment/hygiene industry.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a wide range of plumbing works.
  • Monitor the client’s air and water systems to ensure compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Undertake temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant health & safety procedures.
  • Install and maintain dosing systems.
  • Collate and provide service reports.
  • Liaise with clients/customers on a regular basis.
