This leading multi-disciplinary company which provides a wide range of specialised services is now seeking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Newcastle upon Tyne area. Consideration will be given to applications from Gateshead, Consett, Sunderland and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience working in a water treatment role within the water industry.
  • A good working knowledge of water treatment procedures/legislation.
  • Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office package.
Role
  • Undertake chlorine dioxide monitoring.
  • Dealing with closed systems including sampling.
  • Monitor the client’s air and water systems to ensure they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
  • Servicing of TMVs.
  • Lidashowerhead descaling.
  • Liaise with clients on a regular basis.
