Job summary

A Facilities Management Service Provider in London is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to work across several high-end residential sites. The ideal candidate will possess relevant City and Guilds qualifications and experience in water treatment and plumbing. The role offers a salary of up to £55,000, travel allowances, and opportunities for further training and overtime. You will be responsible for water system maintenance and general building upkeep.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in water treatment ideally with some plumbing experience.
  • Demonstrate previous experience in water system remediation/maintenance works.
  • Fully trained and knowledgeable in respective legislation and guidance material.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct domestic samples and closed system samples.
  • BCW tank cleaning and disinfections.
  • Disinfecting mains water pipes and systems when needed.
  • Repair pipework and leaks.
  • Carry out general building maintenance.

Water Treatment Engineer - FM Service Provider - Foot Mobile - High End Residential Buildings - London (Up to £55,000)

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service provider situated in London. CBW are currently recruiting for a Water Treatment Engineer to be based across a commercial high‑end residential contract in London covering seven sites, the majority of these sites are in the Canary Wharf area and one in South West London. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in water treatment ideally with some plumbing experience. In return the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £55,000, overtime and further training.

Package & Working hours
  • Up to £55,000
  • £160 a month travel allowance
  • Overtime available
  • Monday to Friday 08:00 am - 17:00 pm
  • Travel paid between sites
  • 25 days holiday + Bank holidays

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic samples
  • Closed system samples
  • BCW tank clean and disinfections
  • Sample remedial action
  • Disinfecting mains water pipes and hot & cold water systems when the need arises
  • Working with chemicals such as chemical dosing
  • Surveys on hot and cold water systems
  • Basic Plumbing
  • Repairing pipework and leaks
  • Small plumbing jobs such as dead leg removal
  • Carry out general building maintenance
