Position Information

MSS Water Ltd and the RSK Group are recruiting for a Water Technician to join the team based in South Wales, UK. This is a full‑time, permanent position.

Responsibilities
  • Sampling and testing of industrial water systems including cooling towers, steam boilers and closed loops.
  • Write reports with recommendations based on analysis.
  • Conduct meetings with clients to discuss findings and recommendations.
  • Provide quotes for any additional services beneficial to the client.
  • Manage planned workload in the most efficient manner.
  • Perform water hygiene tasks: temperature monitoring, sampling, showerhead descaling/disinfection and tank cleans/disinfections.
  • Apply knowledge of Legionella guidelines including L8 and HSG274.
  • Monitor and maintain cooling towers, steam boilers and closed loops.
Qualifications
  • At least two years of relevant experience in water treatment.
  • Previous experience of carrying out temperature monitoring, sampling, showerhead descaling/disinfection and tank cleans/disinfections.
  • Experience managing cooling towers, steam boilers and closed loops.
  • Exceptional customer service and time‑management skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for short durations and additional overtime.
  • Full clean driving licence.
