Overview

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – Water Safety Craftsperson - Plumber plays a critical role within the Estates & Facilities Division at St George's Hospital.

Closing date: 07 October 2025

The Water Safety Craftsperson - Plumber ensures the safety and operational integrity of water systems across the Trust's sites. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, inspections, compliance with safety standards, and addressing water safety incidents promptly and efficiently.

Main duties of the job
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of water systems.
  • Perform temperature monitoring and flushing of outlets.
  • Collect water samples for testing and maintain accurate records.
  • Log activities using ZetaSafe, generate reports, and address system issues.
  • Oversee water treatment systems and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Implement corrective measures and contribute to ongoing safety and reliability improvements.
