A leading fire protection firm in Birmingham is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in delivering Water Mist projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, particularly with Watermist or Sprinklers, and hold a relevant SMSTS & CSCS Card. Qualifications

• Experience in the construction/fire protection industry, ideally Watermist or Sprinklers.
• Strong ability to manage budgets ranging from £5k to £2m.
• Knowledge of CDM Management Principles.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager to deliver Water Mist projects.
• Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Skills

Working knowledge of engineering drawings

Experience managing small and large budget projects

Management of on-site labour and resources

Knowledge of production of project documentation

Familiarity with MS Office applications

Education

Current & relevant SMSTS & CSCS Card Holder

Relevant NVQ/NHD/HNC/City & Guilds within Building Services or Mechanical discipline
