• Inspect and clean water storage vessels and conduct chlorinations.
• Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).
• Conduct routine monitoring tasks as per HSG 274 Part 2.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites, ensuring water systems are safe and compliant across the region.
• Inspect and clean water storage vessels (including leading on tank chlorinations).
• Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).
• Conduct routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2, including flushing water outlets, monitoring temperatures, descaling showerheads, flushing pressure vessels, and sampling for closed water systems.
• Use SimPRO system to manage workload.
• Spot problems and proactively find solutions, applying knowledge of HSE’s ACoP L8 and HSG274 to maintain a professional and compliant operation.

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, equivalent or suitable industry experience.
