Job summary

A leading water hygiene company in the UK is seeking a dedicated Water Hygiene Technician to ensure water systems are compliant and safe across customer sites. The role includes inspecting and cleaning water storage vessels, installing thermostatic valves, and using field management software. Overview

Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer sites to ensure water systems are safe and compliant across the region.
  • Inspect and clean water storage vessels, including leading on tank chlorinations.
  • Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves and conduct routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2.
  • Flush water outlets, monitor temperatures, descale showerheads, flush pressure vessels, and perform sampling for closed water systems.
  • Use the SimPRO system to manage workload and track progress.
  • Identify problems, proactively find solutions, and apply detailed knowledge of HSE’s ACoP L8 and HSG274 to maintain a professional and compliant service.
Qualifications
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, equivalent or suitable industry experience.
  • Experience with SimPRO or similar field management software is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of HSE’s ACoP L8 and HSG274.
