Responsibilities

• Conduct routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Perform TMV servicing and failsafes.
• Carry out flushing of little used outlets.
• Execute CWST cleans and disinfections.
• Descale acid and showerheads.
• Conduct calorifier blowdowns.
• Perform tank inspections.
• Test closed systems.
• Clean and disinfect cooling towers.

Skills

Job Title: Water Hygiene Service Engineer.

Independent and expanding Water Treatment / Legionella Company are currently recruiting for a Water Hygiene Service Engineer to join their existing team of engineers in the South East. Keeping with the company ethos of client driven services, you will be travelling across the West London and surrounding areas to deliver professional water compliance duties to both public and private sector clients. Our client understands the importance of investing in their employees and can other training opportunities into other areas of legionella and water treatment as part of their package.

Consideration will be given to candidate from: Windsor, Bracknell, Kingston-upon-Thames, Reading, Woking, Bracknell, Reigate, Basingstoke, Hemel Hempstead, High Wycombe, Oxford, Witney.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will have experience working hands on for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
• Able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of various water systems including Hot and Cold domestic systems as well as Closed Systems and Cooling Towers.
• Detailed knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
• Flexible attitude to work and a keen interest in developing within the water treatment industry.

Compliance Duties

• Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
