Job Description

We have a position for a Water Hygiene Remedial Plumber to work for a leading name within the Environmental Compliance industry. This client carries out the full range of Water Hygiene / Legionella duties across Commercial, Industrial, Leisure and Educational sites. You will be carrying out deadleg removals, and replacement and rerouting of PVC / copper piping. Experience carrying out Water Hygiene services e.g., TMV serving, and water sampling / temperature monitoring would be beneficial to the role. Experience & Qualifications

• Essential: City and Guilds / NVQ L2/L3 in plumbing.
• Desirable: G3 unvented Certificate.
• Experience carrying out plumbing duties within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry.
• Well versed in relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Familiar with using handheld PDA systems.
• Able to communicate efficiently.

The Role

• Carrying out various remedial plumbing duties across Commercial, Industrial, Leisure and Educational sites.
• Carrying out refurbishment / installs on CWST’s.
• Carrying out servicing and installations on TMV’s.
• Replacing and rerouting of PVC and copper pipe works.
• Carrying out servicing and installs on cylinders if G3 certificate is held.
• Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Deadleg removals.
• TMV servicing.
• Cleaning and chlorination on hot and cold-water systems.
• Signing off all plumbing related work when completed.
• Using handheld PDA to gather information for detailed reports.
• Liaising with clients and ensuring to maintain professional relationships.
