Job description

Due to consistent growth and current business requirement, this diverse water treatment company that provides professional and quality water hygiene/legionella services to a mixed portfolio of clients across the country is actively seeking for a versatile, committed and flexible Water Hygiene Engineer based around Wigan and the surrounding areas. Applicants will be considered from Ormskirk, St Helens, Leigh and the surrounding areas.

Requisites

Ideally the applicant will hold relevant water qualifications and will have good formal education.

Must have significant experience hands on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer and within the water hygiene parameter.

Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry legislation – L8.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and organizational skills.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.

Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.

Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients on a regular basis – building and maintaining a good working rapport.

Collating and providing service reports and maintaining the standards according to the regulations – Health and Safety.

Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
