  • Disinfect mains water systems and conduct tank cleans.

  • Conduct routine sampling and analyze water systems.
  • Provide accurate reports and maintain paperwork.

This well-established water treatment company, who provide a wide range of technical water treatment services to commercial and industrial contracts throughout the UK, is currently seeking a hard-working and reliable Water Hygiene Engineer based in the Warrington area. The company is offering the successful candidate the opportunity to further develop their career within the industry and train within industrial water treatment. Due to the nature of the contracts, the successful candidate must be happy to travel extensively. Applications from Widnes, Leigh, St Helens, Wigan and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • The applicant must come from a good chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment background.
  • Previous experience working as a water hygiene engineer.
  • Good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and legislations.
  • Competent with Microsoft office package.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Role:
  • Covering various contracts including residential, commercial and industrial properties.
  • Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans, descales, changing and replacing tanks, remedial work, flushing systems, etc.
  • Monitoring client’s air and water systems ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
  • Installation & maintenance of dosing systems.
  • Providing accurate reports and maintaining paper work.
  • Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
