Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber

Profile: Our client is a leading name within the water hygiene industry, carrying out the full range of water hygrine duties across commercial and industrial sites. They are now looking to take on a qualified and hard-working Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber based in and around the area Hemel Hempstead. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience carrying out various water hygiene services such as temperature monitoring, water sampling, TMV servicing and descaling of showerheads, as well as holding a NVQ / City and Guilds Level 2 / Level 3 In plumbing.

Experience & Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety and ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Ideally hold a NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2/ Level 3 in plumbing.
• Hands‑on experience working within the water hygiene industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office.

The Role

• Undertake analysis on closed systems and chemical dosing.
• Perform cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold‑water systems and cooling towers.
• Carry out repairs and servicing on TMVs and showerheads.
• Conduct temperature monitoring, routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
• Perform legionella and plumbing works in line with company needs.
• Use information from site to produce detailed reports for clients.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with clients.
