An independent Water Hygiene company is looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to manage compliance duties across various sectors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Water Hygiene and ACoP L8 knowledge, with an emphasis on client relations and health & safety guidelines. Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
  • Perform showerhead cleans and disinfections.
  • Flush little used outlets.
  • Clean, disinfect, and chlorinate CWSTs.
  • Service TMVs and implement failsafes.
  • Inspect calorifiers.
  • Update onsite logbooks after work completion.
  • Follow ACoP L8 / Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Maintain professional client rapport.

Overview

We are working closely with an independent and privately owned Water Hygiene / Legionella company. They are seeking to recruit a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a portfolio of longstanding clients across the South West. This role suits a candidate with experience carrying out L8 compliance duties across industrial, commercial, public, social housing and educational sectors. Experience & Qualifications
  • Strong Water Hygiene / Legionella background, working as an engineer for an established company
  • Excellent knowledge of ACoP L8 / Health & Safety legislations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work well as a team and independently
  • Good IT skills
The Role
