Profile

Our client is a professional legionella control company, who offers the full range of water hygiene compliance and legionella risk services to clients throughout the Midlands area. They are currently looking to recruit a personable and driven Water Hygiene Engineer to work on a range of sites across West Midlands / M6 area. The successful applicant must have previous experience carrying legionella compliance duties within a water treatment / hygiene company.
Applications will be considered from: Birmingham, Solihull, Leamington Spa, Northampton, Leicester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester, Kidderminster, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge, Telford, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Must hold extensive experience working within the Water hygiene industry.
  • Must hold working knowledge of relevant health and safety and ACOP L8 guidelines.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
The Role
  • Carrying out temperature monitoring as well as conducting routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
  • Undertaking maintenance and replacement of TMVs.
  • Carrying out descales of shower heads.
  • Carrying out analysis on closed systems and chemical dosing.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in line with relevant health and safety and ACOP L8 guidelines.
  • Using information from site to produce detailed reports for clients.
  • Building and maintaining good working relationship with clients.
