Job description

Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading provider of advanced water filtration solutions, supporting commercial, industrial and residential customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Water Filtration Engineer to join their expanding technical team.

This is a hands‑on and customer‑facing role, ideal for an experienced plumbing professional with a strong water systems background who enjoys working with modern water treatment and filtration technology. You will play a key role in supporting installations, training customers and providing expert technical support nationwide.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of circa £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience), a company van, paid call‑out rates and full product training and support.

• Deliver on‑site training to customers on the correct use, operation and maintenance of water filtration systems
• Support installation, commissioning and set‑up of filtration equipment where required
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues relating to water filtration systems in the field
• Act as a technical ambassador, delivering professional and knowledgeable customer support on‑site
• Liaise with internal teams to feedback on system performance, customer issues and improvement opportunities
• Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant water regulations, health and safety standards and company procedures

Skills & Experience

• Background in plumbing and water systems, ideally with exposure to water filtration treatment equipment
• Relevant industry experience or equivalent hands‑on technical experience
• Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Good fault‑finding, problem‑solving and practical engineering skills
• Confident and personable when dealing directly with customers
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical users
• Full UK driving licence
