Overview

A growing niche specialist Waste Management consultancy is looking to hire 2 Business Development Managers due to growth. NB you MUST have waste management Sales experience to be considered. This is a remote role, and as such you can be based anywhere in the UK.

Role and responsibilities

• Develop new business within Waste Management services, focusing on manufacturing markets across the UK.
• Operate in a long sales cycle with minimal leads, providing resourceful saving and efficiency findings for potential clients.
• Engage with key decision makers across organisations, including Facilities Managers, Estates Managers, Finance Directors, business owners, procurement teams, health and safety teams, and Environmental Directors.
• Adopt a hunter mindset with a strategic, detail-oriented approach rather than fast transactional selling.
• Contribute to revenue growth for the consultancy, which is owned by a larger recycling/commodities group.

Requirements / qualifications

• Strong results in Sales within Waste Management (e.g., trade, TWM, Hazardous, etc.).
• Experience selling Waste Management services is essential.
• Highly numerate with the ability to engage with a wide range of audiences.
• Based in the UK and comfortable with remote working.

Remuneration & Benefits

Salary range is dependent on experience, typically from £45,000 to £70,000 basic, plus a strong bonus scheme and development opportunities. OTE £80,000 to £100,000 per year.
