Job description

We are looking for a Warranty Technician to join our team at BCA Vehicle Services Portbury.

Main purpose of the job

The Warranty Technician role is a vital position responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical repairs in accordance with customer timelines and specifications. The ideal candidate will accurately complete all warranty documentation following Renault’s guidelines and be trained on various diagnostic tools to efficiently identify and resolve issues.

Responsibilities
  • To carry out various mechanical repair to the highest standard and to the timescale laid down by the customer
  • Filling out the correct Warranty Documentation to the Customers Guidelines
  • To be trained on different Renault’s diagnostic equipment
  • To participate in Renault manufacture training courses on and off site
  • To ensure all products used while carrying out daily tasks are used in accordance with Renault specifications
  • To carryout enhancement/option fits (On completion of training)
  • To ensure that all tasks are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety COSH and EPA regulations and guidelines
  • Undertake any reasonable task requested by your Supervisor/Manager
Skills and experience required
  • Comfortable to work under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Flexible to work overtime if required
  • A good working knowledge of vehicle workshop operations
  • Work well on your own or as part of a team
  • Maintain a clean and litter free work station at all times
  • Computer literate
  • A full valid driving licence is essential
  • Have a “Can Do” attitude
