Job summary

A national military organization in the United Kingdom seeks Warfare Officers who will specialise either in Mine Clearance Diving or Hydrography. Officers will undergo extensive training and work in physically and mentally demanding conditions. Responsibilities include conducting underwater engineering and chart generation for naval operations. Successful candidates will have opportunities for career advancement and international travel, particularly to locations such as Australia and the Middle East.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Bridge Watch Keeping Certificate (Advanced or Warfare).
  • Fit to handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Able to work in extremely difficult conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Complete specialised training for Mine Clearance Diving or Hydrography.
  • Generate and maintain charts for safe passage of ships.
  • Conduct planning and training for weapon systems and sensors.
