Job description

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor for a well known distribution organisation in Stafford.

This is a permanent opportunity with an immediate start available.

The essentials of this role are:

  • Experience managing 20 operatives +
  • Have previous experience conducting investigations, disciplinary meetings, accident and H&S investigations.
  • Taken an active lead in performance management
  • Managing absence, return to works, welfares and occupational health referrals.

You will be required to work rotating shifts – 06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00.

In order to be considered for this role, you will:

  • Be able to communicate effectively with your team
  • Ensure you display and instil a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ensure compliance to SOPs
  • Ensure all internal / external KPI’s are achieved and reviewed regularly
  • Complete ‘tool box’ talks and set the team for the shift ahead
  • Co-ordinate handovers between shifts
  • Translate, analyse and deliver customer requirements effectively
  • Deliver consistent service levels
  • Be responsible for all health and safety

Hours: 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 (rotating weekly).
