Job description
Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will lead and support day-to-day operations across our warehouse sites, helping to maintain smooth, efficient, and accurate processes. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring inventory accuracy, timely distribution, and a safe working environment for your team.

Location: Brunel Road, Newton Abbot

Salary: £14.48 per hour

Contract: Permanent, full-time contract, subject to a 3 month probation period

Working Hours: 40 hours per week across 4 days, including 1 in 4 Sundays on a rota basis. Typical hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the day-to-day operations across warehouse sites to ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate processes
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure timely distribution
  • Uphold health and safety standards and foster a safe working environment for the team
  • Train and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse & Distribution Line Manager and colleagues across departments to meet customer expectations and manage stock
  • Contribute to improving team performance and warehouse efficiency
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with procedures
Qualifications
