Job Description

Are you passionate about Warehouse and Logistic and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at our Cullompton site. In this role, you will be using systems and scanners to receive and locate goods, pick and dispatch these goods, as well as general housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the warehouse team during night shifts, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
• Oversee unloading of inbound trunks from three suppliers (Allied, Hovis & Braces) and reloading delivery route vehicles for onward supply to stores across the Southwest.
• Organise vehicle loads and liaise with both warehouse and driving teams to maintain operational flow.
• Operate warehouse systems to accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods, ensuring customers receive the right products on time.
• Handle goods with care and precision, maintaining quality and safety throughout all processes.
• Replenish stock, consolidate inventory, and keep the warehouse organised for demand.
• Support general tasks such as pallet wrapping, labelling, and preparing goods for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised workspace, ensuring equipment is used responsibly and kept in good condition.
• Assist with compliance and administrative tasks, including completing paperwork and providing overnight reports to suppliers and the GDL team.
• Promptly report any issues or defects to support continuous improvement.

Required Experience

• FLT Counterbalance certification is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
• Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment as a Team Leader.
• Good communication and team working skills.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to work within a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
