Job DetailsThis role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for directing all operatives to ensure an efficient process is inline withbudgeted targets. As a team leader in our warehouse, you will be the first point of contact for team members in the achievement of daily targets, set by the management team, with a focus on guiding and developing your team.
Fixed Term till 30/9/2026
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (8-12 Inbound 12-4 Outbound)
Hours: 39 hours per week
Pay Rate: £13.86 per hour
Key Accountability:
Ensurethat agreed productivity rates are achieved and labour costsfall within agreedtargets, relating to the number of SKUsand lines processed
UseIT, Knapp, and manual aidstomonitor staff performance in areas of productivity and accuracy in relation to agreed targets in SKU and line movement
To assist the management teamwithin the disciplinary processby completing investigations or taking minutes when required.
Ensuredamages are kept below the agreed levels (aiming forno damaged stock)
Ensuremissing orders/stock are kept within agreed targets.
Responsible for the organisationof staff andensurethey maintain the agreed level of performance throughout the shift.
Ensure all return to workforms are completed within the correct time scale
To follow fully with H&S regulations and to ensureall staff comply
Ensure all121sare completed within the agreed time scale
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills
Operating Standards:
Liaise with other team members within the site to ensuresmoothwork flow through the warehouse
Ensure all staff keep their areas ofresponsibilityof housekeeping to the agreed standards at all times.
All stock/returns have been put away to the correct location each day.
All documentation is presented to each manager on completion of the shift.
Responsible for completion of team sheets.
Communication
Ensuring leadership and motivation is given through regular daily and weekly team brief to staff
Ensuring routine and regular liaison with fellow team leaders
Training and Development
Effectively carrying out training and development of all staff.

To be a team leader we would value the following skills or knowledge:
Previous experience in a warehouse enviroment including knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution Processes.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to use your own initiative
Ability to prioritise workload
Excellent time management
Previous experience of leading a small team would be highly desirable.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time as well as carrying out manual handling activities in line with our Health and Safety standards.
