Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Location: Greenford

Pay Rate: GBP13.94 per hour

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Strive Staffing Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join their busy warehouse team.

Purpose of the role

Reporting to the General Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of online orders, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse operation. This role is approximately 70% floor-based and 30% administrative, offering a balance between hands-on supervision and office-based coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support warehouse staff in picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders.
  • Ensure all products are accurately processed, securely packed, and dispatched via the correct delivery service.
  • Monitor workflows, organise staff breaks, and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Assist with customer service queries regarding orders, deliveries, and product knowledge.
  • Maintain high standards of stock handling, warehouse presentation, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure health & safety and security standards are upheld at all times.
  • Support management with incident reporting, stock control systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous supervisory or management experience within a warehouse or retail environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to adapt to change.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays when required.
